DanceSyndrome take part in Group Development

April 14, 2011

DanceSyndrome take part in Group Development under Full Circle Arts artist development services.

About Group Development

A photo of post-it note piled up with newspaper cuttings showing words such as respect, reflecting and barriers.

Where are we now?

Modelled around Full Circle Arts Professional Development Planning sessions for artists, Group Development works in the same way.

It is a chance to consider where you are now, what you’d like to achieve and how you might get there.

Full Circle Arts facilitated a space to encourage thought, reflection, conversation, creativity and growth.

DanceSyndrome left with an increased awareness of self and others, highlighted successes, concerns, individual contributions, goals and areas for development.

Some comments from DanceSyndrome……..

Really helped us focus

Enjoyed being asked and being heard about how I think the company is going, makes everyone feel more included and committed

Everyone’s opinion was listened to and valued

know myself know my group

Vicki really made us think about what each dancer wants to get from the company and how we could move this forward, she has really made us focus on what is important to us

Very useful and enjoyable day, theoretically and practically learnt lots about myself and the other dancers in DanceSyndrome

Awareness and direction

Fail to prepare…..prepare to fail

A word form Vicki…..

“Full Circle Arts enjoyed working with DanceSyndrome. Thanks for welcoming us into your group. Great work being produced by the company and good luck with your future”

Group Development falls under our existing Artist Development services, If you are an inclusive arts organisation or a disabled led organisation interested in taking part in Group Development, please contact Vicki ‘at’ fullcirclearts.co.uk for further details.
